Our Durham

It's Up 2 You 2016

What a day! Almost 1,000 people came into the Town Hall with just under 850 voting on projects and next year's AAP priorities.

21 groups competed for a share of £21K and the most voted for 9 received a share of the pot. A big thank you to

  • the volunteers and staff
  • the projects
  • members of the public.

During the day, we are also  hosted a Coffee Morning to raise funds for the Mayor’s chosen charity ‘Veterans at Ease’ who won the Queen’s award for volunteering this year. A total of £323.48 was raised so again thank you all on behalf of the Mayor, Cllr Eddie Bell.

Congratulations to those that were successful and commiserations to those that weren't.

We look forward to seeing you at next year's event.

Mr Chris Tindale - AAP Chair
